Fusion Conference & Exhibition

Hilton

Objectives

Following reunification of the Hilton Family of Brands, Hilton International wanted to communicate and re-enforce the global brand strategy for Hilton Hotels. The objective was to motivate and inspire key stakeholders to share best practice and to standardise and improve upon their delivery of the Hilton Brand Experience. Hilton asked us to deliver the “Fusion” Conference and Exhibition in Sydney, Australia, and Düsseldorf, Germany, involving 600 participants from 200 locations, including General Managers, Executive Officers and the Global Board of the Hilton Family of Brands.

Our Response

We project managed a national/international virtual team including conference producer, exhibitors, venues and transport. We also sourced keynote speakers and entertainment talent, took care of delegate registration and management and VIP on-site management of the Global Board of Hilton. We also designed and delivered a web-based post-event feedback tool.

The Result

The turnaround time was extremely tight: we were appointed in February 2007 and delivered the events in Sydney in April 2007 and Düsseldorf in May 2007. Every detail was delivered impeccably on time and on brand – which was key to fulfilling Hilton International’s brand unification objectives. A Senior Vice President of Hilton International said that the conferences were a huge success, adding that we “demonstrated calm professionalism and tremendous creativity throughout – almost invariably working to tight deadlines”.
