Connecting with 1200 senior international marketers:

Objectives

Connect is the only integrated marketing conference focusing on the true and combined power of data-driven cloud and digital marketing and is run by Teradata for their customers and staff. 

Worldspan have been working with Teradata for over three years and were appointed to deliver the logistics for the event, as well as building a digital creative package that would deliver a high level of interactivity and increase the visibility of the event.  

Since 2010, Connect has consistently grown considerably in size to reach an audience of 1,200 international delegates in 2014. 

 

Our Response

We projected-managed the event from start to finish, delivering logistics, digital and creative services.

To drive increased engagement, we created a customised, purpose-built web app, which connected to a fully responsive website. Extensive testing ensured that this was compatible with all mobile devices, thus ensuring a much higher uptake by prospective delegates. This was instrumental in creating a smooth and engaging delegate journey. The app had an integrated registration system and facilitated real-time bookings for 1-to-1 meetings, which automatically scheduled into registrants’ Outlook calendars.

We supported the marketing of the event with aa extensive digital marketing campaign, creating web banners for use on targeted websites. An HTML email campaign also drove potential delegates to the web app and event registration system.

QR codes were used on each piece of event collateral and were also used for feedback on sessions. This, together with the high level of data collected through the responsive event website and live feedback from the event, ensured that Teradata captured strong and relevant qualitative data.

Our creative design team also ensured that the venue was branded at every touch point with Teradata Connect messaging.
