Allergan Europe

Objectives

Allergan Europe wanted to promote its eye care products to a pan-European audience of 600 doctors and key opinion leaders attending the World Ophthalmology Congress held in Hong Kong in 2008. It also wanted to run a standalone symposium, the Allergan Glaucoma Summit, at the congress. Our experience in delivering multiple pan-European events, our flawless logistics and our superlative customer service helped us win the tender against six other agencies to deliver the event.

Our Response

We project managed the logistics for the event, including registration and travel for delegates based in 12 markets, as well as on-site event management – working to strict ABPI guidelines. We created and delivered a bespoke ground programme built around the congress, delivered the standalone symposium and designed and produced event branded collateral.

The Result

The professional delivery of the standalone symposium had a huge impact and was exactly the platform Allergan needed to reach its influential target market at the congress. Allergan was delighted with the excellent response it received to the event. A senior project manager said it was “a huge success” and the company had “exceptional comments from the delegates flooding into the territory managers”. We continue to deliver multiple events for Allergan Europe every year.
